Lego Corporation, Lego my wallet...
My son and I are headed to Downtown Disney for a birthday party at Build a bear.
He is super excited and I really don't think it because of the bears or the party.
Evan knows there is a Lego store there.
And since daddy isn't with us, we can't just walk by...
We say we are just going to look, but that is NOT going to happen.
We can't resist!!!
Especially since we each have a secret list of Lego products that we need...
The list started after our most recent trip to Lego Land.
We visited the BIG shop, but only spent 10 minutes there before buying a few items and leaving. 10 minutes in the BIG shop is NOT enough. (We have been known to spend over an hour in the little Lego store in Downtown Disney) It was a tease. It left us thinking about all the super cool new items we left behind... So armed with our last gift card left from the holiday season, we head out!
Lego Corporation, PLEASE Lego my wallet.
Xx Lego Mama...

Lego Sale at Toys R Us Offer ends 3/06/2010
Lego Mini figure Cake
We made a Lego mini figure cake over the weekend.
It wasn't bad for the first one.
We lost a few limbs on the transfer off the wire rack to the pan and Evan started icing it before it was completely cooled, so I am confident the next one will be much better.
Next time, I will bake the cake after my son goes to bed and let him ice it in the morning.
It was a fun project! Try one.

My life as the Lego mama
I am sure I am not the only crazy Lego Mama out there!
So, I sort Lego bricks by color on a Saturday afternoon...
I ask strangers at the toy store how they store their kid's Lego bricks.
I can't help it....
Those little bricks and irresistible mini figures are taking over my life!
My son loves them!
I step on them at 2AM when I am going to the bathroom. I can't find a table with out a least one.
I am always on the search for a new project OR display and storage idea for my son's forever growing collection.... I wish more Lego Moms would share their stories...
With that said, I started this blog to vent and brag about my life as the Lego Mama.
Enjoy!
